Let's cover Brisbane in a splash of Yellow
If you wanted to make this into a group support event here are some ideas.
The Workplace
Have a Wear Yellow Day at work. Everyone could bring a plate for morning tea. Someone could bring in a pretty donation box or moneybox for donations. You could even ask your employer to support your fundraiser by matching the donations received.
Playgroup/Mother's Group
Add a fancy theme to your regular meet up.
* Fairytale Day - turn an ordinary day into something magical - make fairy bread for the kids, let them dress up as their favourite Fairytale theme, read Fairytales. Mums could bring something pretty cupcakes to have with coffee.
* Yellow Dressup and Donate Day - either at daycare, kindy, or school. The children could donate a gold coin.
* Teddy's Bear Picnic
Amongst Family or Friends
Anything is possible, anywhere you are in the world. Hold a get together, whether it be a morning or afternoon tea, a lunch, dinner or casual get together.
Coincide your fundraiser with an existing event
You could organise your fundraiser to coincide with something else like your work or sport team meeting, end-of-month get-together, or celebration such as a birthday.
High Tea Party
For all the sweet-tooths out there, nothing beats a fancy High Tea Party. Invite your girlfriends around and if someone owns some authentic, fine bone china get them to bring that along, use some lovely white, crisp linen and silver cutlery. Add a feminine touch with some lace trimmings and fresh flowers. Each person could bring along the bite-sized portions just like the 5-star hotels provide. Wear your best frock and fascinator.
Your support is appreciated.
